Volunteers play an integral role at the Museum. It is a great way to meet new people with a shared interest and give back to the community! We have more than 20 volunteers on an ongoing basis and that number swells to well beyond 200 for special events like the Museum’s annual Wooden Boat Festival in October.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Staff in the giftshop

• Museum tour guides

• Assistance before/during/after special events and programs
